NOZZLE BAND
HEATERS

APPLICATIONS
-
Heating nozzles for injection molding machines and molds, extruder machines, hot-melt applications, smoke guns, and other similar applications. Primarily used in cases where installation space is limited.

DESCRIPTION:
Technical Specifications:
Material: Brass tube. Resistive coil made from nickel-chromium alloy (80/20). Continuous mica insulation. Flexible bipolar power supply cable + grounding conductor.
Temperature: Nickel conductors insulated with fiberglass and Teflon, protected by metallic braided shielding. Maximum operating temperature is 320°C, with peak temperatures up to 350°C.
Application: Electric mica band heaters designed for brass nozzles, featuring a single cable exit. These are recommended for applications without space limitations or corrosion risks caused by plastics. Heaters are hermetically sealed against liquid plastic infiltration.
Note: Standard heaters do not include an integrated thermocouple, but an external thermocouple can be mounted if required.
